Applied Kinesiology

When you go to a western doctor or even many eastern practitioners, most decide on a treatment plan based upon calculations of what works for most people with that malady. But what works for most people may not be working for you – medications, herbal supplements, and even certain treatments may not be quite right, and in some cases, may be causing more harm than good.

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a form of diagnosis that helps to determine the best form of therapy for the individual patient and will establish what’s right for you.

AK uses muscle testing as a feedback mechanism to determine how a person’s body is functioning. By utilizing the feedback that your body gives, the practitioner can determine the best treatment options. We can all be diagnosed with the same condition, but the treatment for each individual may be different. By utilizing AK, a systematic and comprehensive approach to your health is achieved.

Applied Kinesiology can be regarded as an adjunct to basic chiropractic. Not all chiropractors practice applied kinesiology, which requires a special, supplemental certification.
